Wedding Bouquets
As a wedding planner I am always looking for unique ideas for my clients. While searching the internet recently I found a wedding posted on The Knot that I thought had a unique twist to the bride and bridesmaids bouquets. Each bridesmaid had a bouquet of a different yellow flower that matched their personality. The bride then carried a bouquet mixed with each of these flowers. I thought this was a great way to put a little of your personality, as well as your bridesmaid's, into the wedding. This could be done with any color scheme. For example, if your bridesmaids were wearing sage green dresses and you wanted to accent with pink, you could choose pink flowers for all of the girls. If you have a more traditional bridesmaid she could carry a cluster of bright pink roses. If one of your bridesmaids is more of a flirt you could have her carry a bouquet of gerbera daisies. For the bridesmaid with a ton of energy have her carry a bouquet of pink dahlias. And for the modern bridesmaid how about some pink peonies? Or, to add more personality to the bouquets...just let each bridesmaid pick their own flowers. As long as they're the color you want - let them choose! Then for the bride's bouquet mix some of each flower in.
Again, this could be done with any color you choose. And of course any good florist will have lots more recommendations for you and will let you know what is in season and is not.
Here are some of the pink flowers I mentioned above:
So, what do you think of this idea? Love it? Hate it? Not sure? I'd love to hear your feedback.
