The Wedding Favor, that little token of appreciation for your guests and a memento of your big day. With so many types of favor choices, how do you choose the perfect favor?  Deciding on your wedding favors can be a fun and stress-less part of your wedding planning for you and your spouse to be.

It is important to note that the wedding favor serves various purposes; one is to thank your guests for being part of your special day. Favors can be a memorable keepsake of the day you tied the knot and add a finishing touch to your table décor. Consider the following when selecting your wedding favors:

Edible or Practical?: Candy, chocolates and fruits are always a crowd pleaser, and many guests will enjoy the extra treat on their way home.  Practical gifts or keepsakes include bookmarks, key chains, picture frames, candles, wine stoppers, and so much more.  Guests will appreciate your thoughtfulness as they will be able to use these favors long after the festivities.   This category is filled with a variety of options in many styles, colors and price ranges.

Wedding Color Palette: Tying a beautiful bow in your accent color to a simple favor box filled with chocolates or candy will add a splash of color to your reception tables. Your guest will be impressed by the way your wedding color palette flows throughout the room.

Wedding Theme: If you have selected a theme, then your wedding favors should be a reflection of it.  Selecting favors accented with seashells are ideal for a beach wedding, while luggage tag favors are just perfect for a destination themed wedding.

Elegant or Simple? Are you planning an elegant affair or a simple intimate wedding?  Elegant weddings will most likely call for elegant favors; crystal or glass favors, for example, while simple wedding favors will suffice for a quaint garden wedding.

For a customized look, add a personalized ribbon or tag to your favors. Many favor companies offer personalized tags at no additional cost. Look for favors that arrive pre-packaged and “table ready”, a real time-saver!

Have fun and select favors that uniquely reflect your style and one that will leave a lasting impression on your guests. Choosing the right wedding favor is all up to “you”, after all you are unique; your favors should be too!
